Maintenance, iCloud & units
This is one of the most important releases so far. Weeks of work went into making your data save reliably, keeping iCloud in sync with what you actually chose, and making everyday use feel more solid.
I'm an indie developer — I build EndurAPP on my own. I read every message, request and report you send. Your feedback is essential to fix bugs, improve the app and keep shipping updates. Thank you for riding with EndurAPP and for helping me make it better.
What's improved
- Overall stability — deeper fixes so your data saves, syncs and restores more reliably.
- Bike maintenance — more consistent records when adding, editing or removing bikes and service logs, with better iCloud sync.
- iCloud backup repair — new option under Manage Bikes to clean up and rebuild your bike backup if old duplicate data ever appeared.
- User profile — personal details (photo, measurements, etc.) save and restore more reliably.
- Unit system — new Unit Settings screen to choose metric or imperial for distance, speed, elevation, temperature, height and weight, with more consistent conversions across the app.
- Mileage editing — fixes when entering odometer values for your bikes.
- Maintenance reminders — notifications are back so you don't miss upcoming service.
- Manage Bikes — delete multiple bikes without the screen closing after each one.
- Expanded ride analysis — new landscape view to explore speed, elevation and heart rate in more detail.
- Better analysis charts — clearer speed and heart rate insights from completed rides.
- Refreshed interface — cleaner design with improved readability.
- Rotation support — screens adapt more smoothly when you rotate your iPhone.
If you already use EndurAPP
This update does not wipe your data. What you already have on your iPhone is kept. On open, the app cleans up duplicate bike entries when needed and syncs more intelligently with iCloud.
If you had duplicate bikes from an older bug, you may see a shorter, cleaner list — that's intentional. Your distinct bikes and your completed rides are not affected.
If a bike you deleted long ago reappears once, delete it again with this version or use Repair iCloud backup in Manage Bikes. That tool only runs if you tap it and confirm — it uses what's on your iPhone as the source of truth.
